House Commission III also inquired data on the execution of court criminal, civil and state administrative decisions and further explanation about problems and obstacles in carrying out the executions. They asked for explanation about the level of case dealing transparency within the jurisdiction of Special Area of Yogyakarta Province.

In his remark, the Chief of Yogyakarta High Court explained issues being faced, which was one of them about budget ceiling for electricity. It was assumed that the budget allocation was not enough. Similarly, the budget allocations needed for official residence maintenance, infrastructure, and furniture were not yet sufficient.

It was then continued by remark of Vice Chief of Yogyakarta Religious High Court concerning the unavailability of official residence for the Chief of Religious courts in the first level, lodgments for judges of First Level Religious Court, official residences for secretaries of first level and appellate courts. Sleman Religious Court even did not stand on its own land and yet still located on the ground belonged to the Sleman local government.

The Chief of Yogyakarta State Administrative Court explained in his speech that there were many parties who were unsatisfied with the answer from the respondent for the execution. Court security during a trial was necessary since the number of police officers was not enough. Access to justice for poor and marginalized people should also be improved.

The Head of Yogyakarta Military Court II-11 then conveyed the needs of Yogyakarta Military Court which included increasing electrical power, procurement of CCTV for courthouse and trial security, procurement of information screen to display hearing schedule and other information, as well as railing the official residences and lodgments because the land had been provided, but the budget for construction was not yet allocated.

After the explanation was delivered, the event was continued with a discussion about issues on law enforcement. The work visit of House Commission III was ended with gifts exchange and a group photography session. (sf/RNJ/And)
