SUPREME COURT DISMISS THE BAILIFF OF STABAT DISTRICT COURT

Jakarta-PR, Wednesday, August 30th 2017: Not long ago after Corruption Eradication Commissions (KPK) doing sting operation against a Substitute Registrar of the District Court of South Jakarta, on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 Saber Pungli Team has conducted a sting operation an “oknum” with initial "ES" bailiff of Stabat District Court for alleged committing acts a sum of money to the justice seeker in connection with the request for execution.

After receiving the Report, Supervision Board of Supreme Court immediately acted quickly to examine the "ES" and the Chairman as well as the Stabat District Court registrar. For that, the Supreme Court imposed sanctions of temporary dismissal Based on the Decree of the Director General of the General Courts of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 1402/DJU/SK/KP.02.2/8/2017, Started on August 29 2017.

Leaders of Supreme Court in several events state that Supreme Court has commitment to eradicate the corruption in court areas. Therefore, Leaders of Supreme Court really appreciate and thank to law enforcement officer who help to clean corruption in the Court. the manifest of the commitment is Supreme Court has issued the regulation of Supreme Court and Decision of Supreme Court Number 04/KMA/SK/I/2017 concerning forming the unit of illegal charges eradication (Unit Pemberantasan Pemungutan Liar/UPP) in Supreme Court and Courts under its authority.

Supreme Court Leaders also ask to all court chairman in Indonesia to improve the developing and supervising to all apparatus through application the Regulation of Supreme Court Number 8 of 2016 and Regulation of Supreme Court Number 9 of 2016, particularly Regulation Number 8 of 2016 concerning supervising and developing of direct leader in Supreme Court and courts under its authority.
