SUPREME COURT TO SOCIALIZE THE IMPLEMENTATION OF E-COURT TO PILOT COURTS
Jakarta – Public Relation : Following the issuance of Supreme Court Rule No. 3 of 2018 concerning Case Administration in Court Electronically, Supreme Court is preparing to organize the socialization of e-court implementation to some pilot courts. In a coordinating meeting with the officials of first echelon of the Supreme Court which was conducted in Mudjono Room yesterday (25/06/2018), Secretary of The Supreme Court, Achmad Setyo Pudjoharsoyo, S.H., M. Hum. explained that in the initial stage, the implementation of e-court will be piloted in pilot courts, consisted of civil courts, religious courts, and administrative courts. “For the piloting process to run as expected, the socialization program should be prepared as well as possible”, Pudjoharsoyo said. Pudjoharsoyo further details a number of things that need to be prepared, such as Decree of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court which is a derivative of Supreme Court Rule number 3 of 2018, decrees of each directorate general of the judiciary, standard operating procedures, socialization materials and public information, guidance book, as well as the readiness of support systems from partner banks. The socialization is targetted to be attended by approximately 50 to 60 participants from pilot courts and their appeal courts. “We hope that the appeal courts understand what we are doing and be able to play their role well in the program,” Pudjoharsoyo added. In addition to presenting materials related to e-court implementation, the socialization program for pilot courts will also provide simulations on procedures for administering justice in an electronic way.
