SMALL TORNADOS HITS BANTEN COURT AREAS, THESE ARE FAST RESPONSE OF SECRETARY OF THE SUPREME COURT

Serang – Public Relation: Secretary of the Supreme Court, A.S. Pudjoharsoyo and Heads of Bureau come to Banten on November 14, 2019. This is fast responds that Secretary executed after He gets information that small tornados hits Banten on November 13, 2019 and destroys several courts there. Pudjoharsoyo and team directly survey five courts in Banten, namely Banten High Court, Banten High Religious Court, Banten Administrative Court, Serang District Court, and Serang Religious Court.

From five court they visit, there are three courts located at Raya Pandeglang road (Banten High Court, Banten Religious High Court, Serang District Court) and one court located at Syech Nawawi Al-Bantani road (Serang Administrative Court) are caused variety of damage.

In Banten High Court, damages occurred front ceiling, meeting room, registrar room, and staff of Head of Court’ room. Besides, ceiling in several room, such as room of Head of Court, room of Vice Head of Court, and several judge room looked wet as rainwater comes from ceiling which have potential to be broken.

Besides, in Banten High Religious Court, there is ceiling broken caused rainwater comes in and breaks gypsum ceiling. Trees in court areas fallen and hit front ceiling of court and it caused broken fully.

In Serang Administrative Court, small tornados not only breaks front ceiling but also breaks park canopy in back of court. Less broken happened in Serang District Court in rooftop.

After seeing court condition occurred disaster, in small meeting attended by court leaders and all head of bureau in Administrative Board, Secretary of Supreme Court swears that he will take emergency response steps to repair all damage.

According to former of Head of Jakarta Barat District Court, this emergency response steps is the Chief Justice order when he reports what happened in Serang and says that he will go there. “He ask me to searching for solution in order to all court apparatus be able to work normally,” Pudjoharsoyo says.

This condition, Pudjoharsoyo adds, can give bad influence in work area, so it must be repaired soon. “Moreover, the volume of work at the end of this year is up in preparing annual report,” He adds.

Besides, he continues, this condition will disturb public service for public seeker. “We hope that public service will be normal soon.” He says.

In other part, Pudjoharsoyo asks Heads of Bureau, especially Financial Bureau that they must be innovative in preparing financial to repair building after disaster. “The remains of 2019 budgeting must be located to repair court base on their need,” Pudjoharsoyo says

Pudjoharsoyo also hope that the building can be renovated and budgeting must be prepared right now. “Although we have closed budget planning, but in action we hope that it will be flexible for court renovation after disaster,” Pudjoharsoyo says.

TO PLAN DISASTER MANAGEMENT BUDGETING

Small tornados that hit courts in Banten, according to Pudjoharsoyo, must be a learning in the next budget planning, more over if we realize that we are in ring of fire that caused disaster and almost hit courts area.

“Perhaps, next, we need to plan disaster management budget that occurred courts, so we can effectively and efficiently repair when disaster happen.” Pudjoharsoyo says

And if there is no disaster or courts are not hit, the budget can be flexible to be revised and switched over to other activity in frame of developing public service quality in courts. (PR/MN/trans:azh/RS)
