SECRETARY OF SUPREME COURT: BUREAUCRACY REFORM NOT ONLY FORMALITY BUT EVIDENCE IN DEVELOPING PUBLIC SERVICE

Mega Mendung-public Relation: Government has issued President Decree Number 81 of 2010 on Grand Design of Bureaucracy Reform which manage how to apply the bureaucracy reform program, the Decree targeted to achieve three main goals namely capacity building and organization accountability, clean governance and no corruption, and public services development.

In the opening of occasion of Integrity Zone of Supreme Court and Court under Its Authority Through No Corruption Area And Clean Governance, Secretary of Supreme Court Achmad Setyo Pudjoharsoyo said that bureaucracy reform in Supreme Court do not collect evidence only but to develop public service.

The event which took place in the Centre of Education and Training of Supreme Court followed by Head of Courts and the former of Head of Court (which has received promotion) from 11 courts which assigned as ambassador of Bureaucracy Reform of Supreme Court and Courts under its authority they were DKI Jakarta High Court, Jawa Barat High Court, Yogyakarta District Court, Tanjung Karang District Court, Stabat Religious Court, Surabaya Religious Court, Jakarta Military Court, Madiun Military Court, Tanjung Pinang Administrative Court, Jakarta Administrative Court and Denpasar Administrative Court.

In that occasion, Secretary of Supreme Court also reminds that applying bureaucracy reform is not only to be proud of being modern court, but the more important is the strong commitment to give the excellent services to people. We must have integrity zone, no corruption area and clean bureaucracy area as responsibility to people. Due to this event, Ambassador of Bureaucracy reform expected to realize government’s and people’s expectation, as implementation of Regulation of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Minister Number 52 of 2014 on The Guiding Integrity Zone Development Through No Corruption Area and Excellent Governance. Integrity zone is not only the slogan but it is the hope.

Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucracy Reform will send evaluator formally or as mystery shopper to supervise does the courts that has been ambassador has applied the bureaucracy reform so can realize the no corruption area?

In his final remarks, Pudjoharsoyo also address that the result of Bureaucracy Reform Ambassador scoring in realizing integrity zone, also will contribute to develop Supreme Court’s apparatus prosperity particularly in increasing remuneration, but this increasing is not final goal, because of our main goal is giving excellent services, fair and satisfaction to people, then the noble judiciary can be realized.
